Our History

Crossroads Realty, Ltd is one of the oldest real estate brokerage firms in the Vail Valley dating back to the 70's. Originally located in the village center in the Crossroads Shopping Center. The Crossroads area was eventually redeveloped into what is now Solaris. In the early to mid-1980's the real estate market downturn resulted in many brokerage firms closing and also resulted in Crossroads Realty, Ltd evolving into a combination property management and real estate brokerage firm with a focus on homeowners association management, home management for second homeowners, rental property management, and maintenance services for the properties managed.

In 2002 Crossroads Realty welcomed Malia Cox Nobrega and Jay Nobrega to its team for a slow transition from family ownership from Bill and Sandy Sargent. Bill and Sandy "passed the torch" to their daughter and son-in-law and from there the business further expanded and diversified by expanding into more areas of maintenance and into property remodeling. Malia's business degree and legal practice made her a perfect fit for the highly diverse needs of Crossroads Realty while Jay helps to keep the team well-rounded with his multifaceted skills in building maintenance and general contracting services. The two continue to run Crossroads Realty with a degree of integrity and expertise that is difficult to find and is unlikely to be matched by other firms. These combination of skills also make them very knowledgeable real estate brokers (vast HOA knowledge, contract expertise, a long history and knowledge of the Vail Valley, construction and maintenance knowledge etcetera). Crossroads Realty is thankful that its expertise, combined with dedicated long term clients and diversity of services, have allowed for continued success in a changing economic climate.
